Stormbringer

Darkness swallows up the light,
a flash of heaven's mighty call.
A random scene, now black to white.
A primal shriek repeats it all!

The gods do battle bold on high,
fear now takes its pound of flesh.
Lose yourself within its Eye,
as candles wax so luminous.

Ever present since The Fall,
when midnight sun first rose.
No longer bound to Celestial law,
a mortal sentence now imposed.

The smell of breaking in the air,
chaos reigns complete.
Still-framed pictures everywhere,
my soul this feral fall entreats.

Seraphim-hailed bolts of light,
smite with savage discontent.
Darkness dwells without a hope.
We weep lost loves last lament.

The War of Sons both dark and light.
Morning Star rises with timely grace.
EL's Likeness, in holy might.
Mankind lost between disgrace.

Within our caves we dwell once more.
Protections price we could not pay.
Banished now forevermore,
Stormbringer's cry shall rule the day!
